The dimensions of this page are out-of-range - Page content might be truncated

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2018.011.20040 on macOS 10.12.6 (16G1408) Sierra shows the following error warning when trying to open ".pdf" document containing a large vertical mind map (58 KB):

"The dimensions of this page are out-of-range. Page content might be truncated".

And file content shows indeed truncated

How to fix it? Or is it an Acrobat bug?

Note that there is no problem opening such file using other applications:

- Selecting such file in Mac Finder and pressing keyboard spacebar: it shows full contents (albeit small in iMac 5K 27-inch display, 4,2 GHz Intel Core i7, 40 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, 2TB Apple SSD, mid 2017).

- Apple Preview 9.0 (909.18) also shows it OK.

- Likewise, PDFpenPro 9.0.2 opens it OK.

Move your mouse cursor towards the lower left corner of your document until you see the page dimensions in that corner. What does it report as your page size?

Thanks for the quick reply. It shows: 70.61 x 200.00 in.

It has to be fixed in the app that made it. Too late to fix it in Acrobat, a file over 200 inches is unusable.

What if you do not have the app that made it? Is ther a way to use Adobe to resize it?

If not, there should be! We pay enough for an Adobe subscription that it should not limit people like this and force them to use other applications.

Adobe have not changed the 200 x 200 inch limit. Files larger than that cannot be viewed.

(There is a special technique for making bigger files with scaling, but the app creating it has to to that. Otherwise, make a scaled PDF).

Is there another reason that may cause this?  I am getting the same error message but my pages are all 22"x36" and nowehere near the 200" limit.

The specific error I get is "The dimensions of this page are out-of-range. Page content might be truncated".

As a follow up, the file works fine in Adobe Acrobat until I try to save it as an archivable PDF (PDF/A)
