Thanks for the info I have tried the steps mentioned in the discussion,
A bit more info from my side:
The user scans from printer to email
When they open as save as on some files they will get this error,
They are saving to a file server (network drive)

Thanks for your help so far, Unfortunatley I can't share a video as such due to company policies,
Let me try to explain it better:
User scans from a printer to mail
Recieves email from printer of the scanned pdf
opens pdf via email
press file save as
tries file server and the below error occurs.
I have tried reinstallation and in adobe repair

Please try to create the PDF as described in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/scan-documents-pdf.html and see if that works.

My Acrobat 8.1 recently gave me an error when I tried to save a file, especially if I made a change to the file. I figured out that I turned on "Controlled folder access" in my "Windows Security Ransomware Protection". When I turned it off again, Acrobat returned to normal.
