New Here ,
Feb 16, 2025 Feb 16, 2025

I was writing this pdf and suddenly the program crashed. I recived an message that there was an error but when I restarted my mac my important document was gone. Please help me to recover it! I want to mention that I had a PDF document open that I underlined (it was saved with the changes made), but I also had a new document open that I was writing at the time and it was not saved, it did not appear after the error.

@Adrian_Bigu0787 Sorry to hear lost an unsaved PDF document after Acrobat crashed on your Mac. To try and recover it, first, check Acrobat's AutoSave feature and the temporary files folder using Terminal. If you use Time Machine, restore previous versions of those folders. If those methods fail, consider using data recovery software. Remember, acting quickly and minimizing further hard drive use increases your chances of recovery. In the future, save your work frequently, enable AutoSave, use Time Machine, and consider cloud storage to prevent data loss.
