Hi, I am posting again on this issue since the last post are quite old, and not quite the same issue, they had problems with Acrobat not working at all or not signing.  Besides, they were referring to Acrobat pro and not the free version of AR I have. I read my pdf perfectly, but I can't create links since a year now. I have Mac 10.14.6, Mojave. On the old post, somebody suggested " Find the one named "Accessibility.acroplugin" and simply delete it". Deleted, problem persisted, so I threw it out because I had no uninstaller. My AA reader was quite old, so I assume the new download will fix. I wish to download the most recent free version, could somebody  please confirm what I entered is correct, so I won't mess up, and that AAR DCis still freeDOWNLOADFORMAC.png? thanks

Hi @margieannejulie

Sorry to hear about the trouble caused.

Please use this cleaner tool to uninstall the application and reinstall it.

Run this cleaner tool to remove the existing installer and application’s file traces:

https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html

Download the Acrobat installer from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Akanchha
