We recently replaced an older Mac computer with a new one running Ventura OS. We use Acrobat Action Wizard to apply a watermark to our PDF's and then the PDF is directed into another folder with LR at the end and the original PDF is left in the original folder. We still use a Mac Server and have had no issues with it. This new computer will do the first 3 of the 4 steps we have set up in each specific action, the fourth step (Save to Local Folder) that is supposed to direct it into another folder with LR after the name produces this error: "This document could not be saved. This file cannot be found." and acrobat quits. The computer is up-to-date on all programs. If the Save to Local Folder action is changed to save to the desktop it works...but we need it to save to the folder on our Server. We've recreated the action and made sure the path to the folder was correct. We've been fighting with this for 4 days. I've googled the error message multiple times. There was one post in this forum for this exact error message but it was for a Windows computer and wasn't helpful for a Mac.

It didn't work. The new OS's Privacy & Shortcuts folder looks different than mine so it was a little confusing trying to figure it out. We clicked all the items you said to. She quit Acrobat and relaunched it and it didn't work so she restarted the computer. It still didn't work.

Hmm, you said you were running Ventura and I gave you the screenshots for Ventura. Here are the screenshots of the previous OS. Please note the focus of these screenshots is for Adobe Bridge. Just please replace Adobe Acrobat for Adobe Bridge.

Go to your System Preferences and select Security and Privacy (found in the top section). Now click on the Privacy setting (last tab). Now click on the lock on the bottom left and provide your Administrator code. Now select the Full Disk Access option and click on the "+" symbol. This will bring up the standard Mac Open window and let you add any application you want or need to have full access. Look for Bridge, and select it; it will now appear in that window, and make sure it's checked. Next, go to the Files and Folders option and do the same thing as above (although there's nothing to check, just add. Close everything down and see if that makes it all work.

Please let me know

[Note: these images are from an older OS, the process is the same.]

This sounds like you've not given Acrobat permission for Apple's protection. Simply, this is an Apple protection issue, not Adobe's issue.

Go into the System Preferences and select the select the Privacy & Security tab on the left, then select the Accessibility tab top.

Now, click on the "+" button on the very bottom which will open a Finder's window into the Applications folder. Select Acrobat Pro. Be sure to slide the On/Off button to On (to the right). You may need to enter your administrator's password at some point. You also may need to quit Acrobat and reopen.

Please let us know if that works or not.

Ah, I'm sorry, I almost forgot; you need to also select "Full Disk Access" and be sure to add Acrobat to that as well with the same process.
