This PDF cannot be viewed in Acrobat or Reader, and the application will now exit

Question

When exporting an interactive pdf from InDesign, Adobe acrobat can not read the file and gives an error message

"This PDF cannot be viewed in Acrobat or Reader, and the application will now exit"

It then force quits. I have tested with several designers on the team all having the same issue and other members in the team are also not able to view the document. We are running the latest version of InDesign. We are trying to input a mp4 video and it does not work.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
