Time Sheet calculations (Start time, Finish Time = Total Hours)

I am looking for some help on how to get this field to calculate correctly.

Employees will be entering a start time and finish time... i then want it to calculate how long this employee has been on site for minus a 30 minute break (0.5 hrs)

Example...

Start time = 8.00 (am)

Finish time = 16:30 (pm)

Total Hrs = 8.5hrs but - 30 min break leaves a 8.0 value in the box.

If someone could help that would be amazing x
