Tips to optimize PDF containing many images to reduce size while maintaining quality?

Hi everyone,I am working with some PDF files that contain a lot of high resolution images, and the file size has increased quite a bit. I would like to ask if there is a way or setting in Adobe Acrobat to reduce the size while maintaining the sharpness?I tried exporting some documents related to the classic game Mahjong (e.g. Mahjong123.de) to present in PDF, but the images are too heavy. Which preset should I use when “Save as Optimized PDF”?

Optimisation is always a compromise between file size and quality.
There is no magic setting; you will need to use your own judgement to decide which one is right.
However, it is important to note that increasing the compression rate gives better visual results than reducing the resolution.
