to highlight selected text with a keyboard command?

Is there a way to highlight selected text with a keyboard command, not using the mouse to select highlight in the upper menu?  There was some information that they keyboard command is ctrl + shift + h, but that didn't work for me so far.  When I right-click on selected text, the pop-up menu shows highlight as a selectable option, and in the pop-up menu, the 'h' in the 'highlight' option is underlined.  Is there some combination of keyboard buttons with the 'h' key that allows for highlighting selected text?

Unfortunately, no, but the Context Menu key on your keyboard followed by H will do the job.
