Toyota Type fonts not recognized when printing a document to PDF

Toyota Type fonts not recognized when printing a document to PDF. We have a true-type font called Toyota Type that USED to work with my older version of acrobat. My laptop was refreshed and I received a new version of Adobe Pro (Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020).  Now when I print, instead of seeing the intended font, I see gibberish when printing to PDF.  Why all of a sudden is that font no longer recognized? I would think that a true type font would be fine. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, as this is affecting daily work.

From what application are you printing to a PDF?

Can you give more details about your workflow?

I am using the Adobe printer and Microsoft Excel. So I have a document Then I am printing. Instead of printing to a physical printer, I'm using the adobe printer within the program.

Printing to PDF is usually not the best method to convert an Excel file to PDF.
