We have a stand alone version Adobe Acrobat 2017 installed on our Windows 7 pro machine. We recently purchased a Windows 10 Pro machine. Is there anyone to transfer it over to the new machine? We can't locate the install disk and looked in the software for a license key but couldn't locate where it is at in there.

you'll need the installation files and the serial number.
there are several possible ways to find/recover an adobe serial number.
1. search purchased materials: https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/find-serial-number.html
2. you can check your account (if you purchased from or registered with adobe AND you remember the adobe id used to purchase/register), https://accounts.adobe.com
3. if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer,

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!
if, during installation, you see an excess activation count error, you'll need to deactivate (help < deactivate) one of the two previous installations.

I'm curious if you were able to successfully download this on another machine?? Adobe locked the serial number from when I purchased acrobat 2017 outright and was told there would be no need to ever subscribe to this online garbage. I am contacting the FTC because I am due a refund. Along with everybody else who bought this outright.
