Hello, I am writing to comment on the newest version of Adobe Acrobat, version 23.8.20470.0. Initially I loved this version, as I was able to quickly access the page view and other tools. But then. . .
I have a very specific set of tools I want available on the tool bar. Scroll view, number of pages, etc. I have more work to do than time I have to do it in (like all of us). When I open Adobe, I want to start working immediately. The never version, while easy to use in some respects, is more difficult for me to use. When I first loaded the updated version, I spent 10 minutes looking for tools that I need (scroll view, number of pages, etc.). When I could not find it, I went back to the older Adobe Acrobat view. Voila! I was able to immediately start working.
While I appreciate the short, 3 or 4 tips that was provided upon first use, on a major upgrade like this version, I need more orientation. And more warning. YouTube videos about how to transition would be great. I find it very difficult to use a new tool when there are new, unspoken rules about how to use it.
Thank you! Paul Clark

You must revert to the Classic UI: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-in...
Consider the "new Acrobat" as a beta version, many features are still missing or half-implemented.

I hate the update to Adobe sign ("request e-signatures"). It's not user-friendly at all, or intuitive like the previous version. It should be fast and simple, but it now takes much longer to specify elements for recipients to sign.
