I have received a document that has fillable fields. WHile working from home I need these to disappear so that I can add true signatures and notary stamps to the document.  Can someone tell me how to do that? Thanks.

Hi there

We re sorry for the trouble. As described you want to remove the fillable form fields from the PDF file.

Make sure the PDF is not password protected for editing. Open the document in  Adobe Acrobat DC > Right Click > Documents properties > Security tab. and check

If the file is not password protected, please try the following steps to delete the form fields

  • If you are not in the form editing mode, choose Tools > Prepare Form
  • In the right-hand pane under Fields or the page view, select the form fields that you want to delete.
  • Right-click and choose Delete, or choose Edit > Delete.

For more information please refer to the help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/pdf-form-field-basics.html#delete_a_form_field

Note: Make sure that the PDF form is not password protected for editing.

Let us know how it goes
