When I try to print from Acrobat 2017 I get error message 1392: "Unable to create the temporary folder. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." Which file/directory? What can I do about this? The error message header has Acrobat Distiller. Thanks.

I have only one TEMP directory and as far as I can tell I am authorized to access that directory in Win 10. Is Acrobat looking for a Distiller subdirectory? I am still not able to Print from Acrobat.

Hi there!

The error message shared above, "Unable to create the temporary folder. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." is probably referring to the Windows "temp" directory. There seems to be an issue with the permission to this folder.

Try the suggestion provided in the similar discussion here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/Acrobat/Unable-to-create-the-temporary-folder-Error-183-cannot-create-a/td-p/9479986#M77221 its quite an older one, but correct answer given would surely help finding the resolution.

Let us know if doesn't work even after applying full permission to the temp directory.

Thanks,
