Question

Unable to deactivate Adobe Acrobat X to install new PCs

I have two Adobe Acrobat X licenses. I should transfer them from old PCs to new PCs.

I just uninstalled Adobe Acrobat X from old PCs and install them on new PCs.

Then I got "This serial number has already been activated on 2 computers" error.

I realized that I need to deactivate them before I install on the new PCs.

I already uninstalled Adobe Acrobat X from old PCs so I tried to re-install them and deactivate them from Help>Deactivate but I couldn't see Help>Deactivate on the menu.

What can I do to use these two licenses on the new PCs?

Can you help me with this issue?

Thanks

You have to contact Adobe Customer Service. There is nothing you can do to free these licenses if the old computer is gone. You should say to them, first thing, that you need an "Activation Count Reset". Do NOT start by saying you want support for Acrobat Pro X (unless asked). Do NOT let them send you back here, it is official that the forums can't help. Good luck! Don't forget to reapply the 10.1.16 patch, or it won't work. Warning, scammers may contact you privately pretending to be Adobe staff. Adobe will never send you a private message asking you to email an account that isn't @adobe.com, or use Skype. Adobe never ask you for their password. These scammers want your Adobe info, credit cards, your money and control of your computer, please take care.
