Recently I have noticed that Acrobat XI (11.0.18) cannot create a PDF form from an existing Word Document. This is something that was working previously but is now broken. I receive a popup that says "Unable to find "Adobe PDF" resource files. Do you want to run the installer in reparin mode? Is this something that has broken recently?

For the record, this is what worked to fix things for me. This resolved both my Right Click to Convert issue as well as the Unable to find resource files error.
Manually install the PDF Printer
If you are later prompted for the ADPDF9.PPD file, it can be found in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat XX\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF\<OS version> folders.

Hi Josh,
I'm glad that worked for you. It would be "nice" if the File - "Save as Adobe PDF" option actually worked, but at least there's a workaround that accomplishes the same thing.
I'm wondering "how" this might get reported to Adobe support, so that they might fix this in a future update? If we can print to the Adobe PDF printer, then it seems that there's a "bug" with the option.
Can someone help me figure out how to report this? Thanks!

I hope we can, i'm still not happy to be honest. The fact that the word "privelige" is mis-spelled in the error message gives me a sense of whats going on... . i'll keep at this.

At least I'm seeing that it's not just me that's having this issue, so that's something.
When I go through the process to get the contact options, it returns BLANK, NOTHING, NADA. lol
Can you give me the contact details for tech support that you've got? Thanks!

Hi Josh (and anyone else),
I opened up a case with Adobe support via the chat mechanism after our last chat this past Monday, 4 Jun 2018. I had a support rep get on my system and try to get this working. The rep tried everything I was already through with no difference in the results. I generated logs for the rep and was told that they would get back to me. I received a call from the rep today and he got on my system again, ONLY to try what he already tried, which I thought was odd and explained that I needed some progress with a solution, instead of trying the same things over and over again, only to find the same results. He's supposed to get back to me again, but I'm not sure when I'll hear back.
So, back to square one, I realized something. When I got this laptop and activated Office with my key, it "apparently" activated the apps from the Microsoft Store, so I was using the store apps and NOT the Office 2016 apps from my Office 2016 DVD. I also noticed that the store apps are 32-bit, not 64-bit. I uninstalled the store apps and then installed Office 2016 x64 on my system and the Adobe plug-in now works just fine.
I don't know if this will apply to anyone else, but I thought I'd share what got it working for me. I'm going to email the rep at Adobe and have him cancel my support case, now that I've got it working. Thanks!

I thought I would add that this included all the options in the Acrobat tab as well. They all now work! Thanks!

Hi susanl8457277,
I’m glad that I was able to help someone and am happy that worked for you.
It seems to have something to do with the Office 365 store application from Microsoft. Once I got rid of that and installed Office 2016 from my DVD, the Adobe plug-in started working fine.
I wish that Adobe support would be more in tune with this, but anyway that’s what this forum is for, so we can help each other.
Happy document creating!

I can do this but it’s funky and the PowerPoint doesn’t format full screen. I spent over $300 on the pdf software and adobe really doesn’t even care that it doesn’t work.

You need to install VC10RT_x64 from the installation disk. D:\Adobe Acrobat XI\VC10RT_x64\vc_red.msi
My OS Windows10x64
