UNABLE TO OPEN JPG FILES IN ACROBAT PRO VERISON 2022.003.20310 64 BIT

I was easily handling jpg files in Acrobat Pro, it says the format is not supported. This has suddenly stopped, I am unable to figure out the reason. kindly help. There is nothing wrong with the files, have tried on numerous files. The image of the message is attached. thanks

When you say "open", to you mean "open" or do you mean "convert jpeg to pdf"?

 

Can you tell us if you are you using the steps here?

Jane I am using Create PDF Tool, Select File,  Single File, I select a JPG file it loads with a slightly distorted thumbnail (screenshot attached), then I type Create.  On doing this I get the message as attached.  can you help pl. This file opens perfectly well in other applications
