Unable to print PDFs from new iMac

I just bought a new iMac, and migrated all data and apps from the old machine smoothly. I now cannot print PDFs, however. I can print from other programs, so the printer (HP ENVY 4500) is not the problem. I can open and manipulate PDFs, just not print (when I click print, I get the spinning color wheel that never stops).

I have Adobe Acrobat DC, and when I check for updates, it says there are none. My MacOS is up to date.

Thanks.

Hi @Gerard349244064m6d ,

I assume your iMac has a new M3 chip. Lately, some mac Users have been reporting problems with Acrobat printing. if everything used to work fine before, I am not really  sure why this is happening.

Also, how did you installed that printer?  Are you using the Bonjour Service on that mac?

If yes, See additional troubleshooting guidance from HP here:

And below how to activate the Bonjour service on mac if you see fit trying this method:

I had never heard of Rosetta before (and no one at the Apple Store mentioned it as something I might need), but after a little investigation, I installed it, and it seems to have solved the problem. Thanks.

I am having the same issue. Does this solution work for MacBook Pros (chip: Apple M2 Pro) too? Also, my initial research indicated that it was OS-based, specifically Catalina vs Sonoma. Any feedback or suggestions?
