Unable to reach Adobe Servers on Windows 7

Hi All,

I have a user running Adobe Acrobat Pro on a machine running Windows 7. They are migrating to a new machine but wanted to continue using AAP on the older hardware.

They have been unable to open the AAP app or CC due to the error message "Unable to reach Adobe Servers".

I have done the following troubleshooting steps:

- Checked for updates

- Signed into Adobe and removed all open sessions on the profile

- Uninstalled all Adobe apps and reinstalled

- Added the Adobe apps to the firewall allow list

Im wondering if its a compatibility issue with Windows 7, as its such an older OS.

Has anyone successfully resolved the issue?

The simple way to solve is to change de default browser from Chrome to other (Internet Explore, Mozzilla, Opera).

Hi DTorontoG,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you are using Windows 7 and receive error, please refer to the information prvodied in the following help document:

I would suggest you to update your OS to Windows 7 Service Pack 1.

Hope the information helps.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I have got this same problem, and neither of your suggestions work.

Very disappointing that I cannot even download software that I am expected to pay a lot of money for.
