I apologize for posting this again, but I still can't get an imagine to resize in a pdf I'm editing in Adobe Pro. I have used this product for years and it was as simple as grabbing the arrow on the corner of the image and resizing it. I can't imagine why this no longer works. I can only move the image with my arrows on the keyboard and not my mouse. Hopefully someone has identified the problem and can share... this is so frustrating as it's something I have done thousands of times.
I had the same problem. I exported the pdf to word. Then inserted the picture into word, including having to play with settings to get the picture to place how I wanted it to. Then converted the word doc back to pdf.
^ This worked for me. Thankyou so much

Thanks for reporting this to us.
This is correct; the best and the easiest way to resize an image in PDF is to go to Edit mode, hover or select the image and then click and drag the corners to resize the image.
Now when you try to do this, what happens? Doesn't that let you stretch the corners?
It could be a PDF-specific issue as it might be a scanned file.
To download the patch manually, more information about this release is here: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader
Share the screenshot of your complete page view having this document open in Acrobat. We want to check if its Acrobat New UI or old one.
Please share a sample file with us if it still doesn't work.
Thanks,

I had to right click on the added image and then select "Select All". This allowed me to move and resize the image.

Hi @rosa_9828,
Hope you are doing well. Thanks for sharing the steps that helped.
From the description and the comments, it seems that you were trying to add an image on top of another and then trying to resize, am I correct?
In such scenarios, it could be possible that the borders conflict each other, creating it difficult for Acrobat to select the one that you are looking for.
You can right-click on the image-> Arrange-> Send to back. Doing so will bring the image that you want to resize to the front, thus making it easier for you to select.
Hope this works.

This enables me to share a better response.

Hi Souvik- Sorry, too late for me to do a screen recording, as the 'repair installation' trick fixed the problem. For me, this was absolutely NOT an issue of Acrobat getting confused as to what image I was selecting. The image was easily being selected, the problem is that when I clicked on the border of the image, the only thing that popped up was the curved rotation arrows. This was true both when clicking on an edge and on a corner. Normally the first thing that pops up is the straight resizing arrows, and you have to hover for a bit to get the rotation arrows to appear, but in this case the rotation arrows popped up, and no amount of hovering/reclicking/clicking in another area would get the resizing arrows to pop up.

Doing the Repair only works temporarily. I've had to do the "repair" at least once a month since this started happening last year.
