Unable to share doc after making redactions

I want to be able to make suggestions to readact, save the PDF and share with someone else to approve the redaction. I undertsand this is possible as I have seem my co workers do this. However, every time I make the redaction (but don't actually apply it), click save and then go to share a link an error message displays that states ' Remove any attachments in the comments panel to share or turn off commenting to share with the attachments'. The only refenece I can see in the comments section is that I have made a redaction. In preferences, I have turned off every function in comments section and restarted my computer and the issue still persists. Can you please advise what I can do to resolve this issue please?
