Unable to share signed document - Acrobat 2020

We have an issue with Acrobat 2020 where a user adds a signature to a PDF document they no longer have the ability to share the document.  The "share" icon becomes greyed out.  The ability to share the document is available prior to signing.

Sorry for the delay in response. 

Depends on how you are applying the signature. Is it a Digital Signature or Fill & Sign method.

This is correct! Signing locks the document. Your document-sharing options will be disabled and limited to these options:

 

Or you can do it the other way around:

  • Use Fill & Sign tool to apply the signature
  • Use Ctrl+s or File>save/save to save the file
  • Once saved, you can use the Share option
