Question

Uninstall Acrobat DC

I have an old employee laptop that had Acrobat installed on a MacBook, but the app was manually deleted.

Now when I am getting a new employee setup on this laptop, I log into Adobe Creative Cloud with a new user account, and it shows Acrobat is still installed.  The uninstaller isnt there, the app is gone but apparently there are some files somewhere thats letting Adobe CC think Acrobat DC is still there.

How can I manually remove all the files so I can install a fresh copy of the app using the new Adobe account?

Help!

Running OS X 10.14

MacBook Pro

uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

Thanks for your insight.  I've tried that and it won't uninstall without removing ALL other adobe applications from the computer.
