I have checked the PDF that you have shared with us and I can see that the fonts are not embedded in the PDF.
When the font is not embedded, the application substitutes the fonts available on the machine. That results in the garbled text in the PDF.
I have recreated the PDF in Acrobat DC and shared the file here Adobe Document Cloud
Try to open this PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and check if it opens without any issue.
It is font specific issue. You can check the fonts of both the documents (the original and the one we have shared)
Open the PDF in Reader and go to File > Properties > Fonts.
In this case, you will need to ask the PDF creator to embed the font in the file.
Hope that answers your query.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Meenakshi

Hi Olivierl,
It seems to be the font specific issue.
It generally happens when the font which has been used is not embedded in the file.
As you are using the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to view the file, it means you are not using the Adobe PDF maker to create the PDFs.
If that is the case, there is nothing much that can be done from our end.
Could you please let us know how exactly you are creating the PDFs?
As you have mentioned that on some computers the document can be read with no problems, please let us know if you follow the same workflow on all the computers.
It would be helpful if you can share the workflow that you follow and both the files ( Excel and PDF).
To share the file, take help of the steps mentioned here How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud
We will be waiting for your response.
Let us know if you have any questions or need any help.
Regards,
Meenakshi

Hello,
Thank you for your answer but I can't give how we create the PDF because it's not us but another entreprise who create the PDF. I can give you the PDF document but nothing else.
We just test if we recreate a new PDF from the first PDF on a computer who can read it and then it's possible for the other to read the PDF.
Thank you
