Unresponsive Acrobat DC installer

I have downloaded the installer for Acrobat DC. WHen I click on it, waiting for additional prompts to install, nothing happens. I am on a MacBook, with a 1.4 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, with 16 GB of memory. I am running OS Monterey 12.1. Suggestions?

Do you already have the Creative Cloud app installed?

If so, install Acrobat from there.

I hadn't. Thanks for the suggestion. That fixed the problem.
