Unwanted bold font

New Here ,

Hi,

I have trouble exporting files from psd to pdf in photoshop, it gives me partially random bold font in one of the text layers.

When zoomed in above 300% it seems ok. I have checked it on several pdf viewer and the problem is still visible.

I have tweak all the saving option in photoshop and still have the problem no matter what I do.

The only way I found is to go around the problem saving the text layer as an object wich is not a solution as I want the text to be in the pdf as text able to select.

I have looked all over the internet and apparently nobody has found a proper fix to that.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Is it the characters that are pure rectangles (lower case l and capital I in sans serif font)? Or others too?

Hi and thanks for your fast replies,

It can be any character. Actually it is often an word. When I delete the word in the sentence and save as pdf, other words are then appearing bold.

I use "save as" and "photoshop PDF" from the file menu.

Thanks for your help

HI Devop,

How are you creating the PDFs? The best way is to go to File (menu) -> Save as... and select "Photoshop PDF."

Otherwise I'm also curious for your answer to Test Screen Name.

Thanks,

I see that 5 years later, this has still not been resolved by Adobe. Still having the same issue in Photoshop 2021/2022
