Update for generative AI (beta) will not install - constant message to restart Acrobat to 'launch' it.
I have reestarted my Macbook and restarted Acrobat mnay times but same meesage comes up.
Running Ventura 13.6.3 on Apple M2.
I actually dont need the AI function, so I would like to disable the need to install and/or get rid of the constant message.
Acrobat is up to date, V 2023.008.20533.
I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.
Please see this article for more information on Acrobat's new AI Assistant feature.
Also, try the below preference change in the Acrobat and see if that works for you. Navigate to the Preferences(Cmd+K)>General>Select "Show home screen when all documents are closed" Click OK, relaunch the app and check.

Hi @David3558580056si ,
This seems like an issue related to Acrobat. This is the Enterprise and Teams community. Hence would be moving your thread to the Acrobat Community for further assistance.

Hello Anand Sri,
Thank you for your promt reply. I did the change to enable "Show home screen when all documents are closed" - this seems to have 'worked'.
I did find the Genrative AI features in Preferneces, but it was all ready unchecked.
Will let you know how this works out know.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
