Updating Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac to Acrobat Pro 2017 Mac by purchasing an Upgrade.

Is it possible update my Acrobat 9 Pro for Mac to Acrobat Pro 2017 for Mac by purchasing a License Upgrade, rather than the Full Licence?

I note in the purchasing page, when License Upgrade is selected, the drop down menu for "I Already Own" does. not feature 9 Pro as a selection option.

Apple have recently advised that their next Mojave operating system update (currently 10.14.1) will require Acrobat to be 64-Bit, whereas as far as I know the current 9 Pro I am using is only 32-Bit.

Will this still work, as I understand it may (will) not??

Correct answer Test Screen Name

I believe upgrades are available for two versions back, which would be Acrobat 2015 and Acrobat 11 (XI). So it is too late for an upgrade price from Acrobat 9 or Acrobat 10 (X). You are correct that old apps won't work in the next Mac OS, which will be 10.15. It won't be called Mojave, that's the name of the current system 10.14. The name of 10.15 is not known yet. Acrobat 2017 is 64 bit. Acrobat DC is also available, which is subscription based and includes future upgrades; we don't know if Acrobat 2017 will need a paid upgrade for 10.15 because nobody knows what else Apple will break.
