URLs pasted into fillable text field are much larger than the specified appearance for that field

I created a fillable form and specified that the fillable text boxes are 10-point Arial. When users paste URLs into these fields (the purpose of the form is to capture specific results of web searches), the font size immediately jumps to about 14 points or so, regardless of how I've set the "Appearance" parameters. Any way to prevent this from happening?

Did you tick the option for Rich Text Formatting? If so, that overrides the font size setting, as RTF text can have multiple sizes.
