Question

Use several actions in a batch process

The situation is as follows:

Basic documents (Word) are prepared and saved as PDF.

These documents are to be personalized with a named watermark. Therefore I added an action for each person. Then it seems not to be possible to run several actions in one row to personalize (watermark, footnote and filename extension) one set of documents for e.g. 30 persons of a committee.

Adding the actions into one action leads to added filename extensions. It is not using the same source of documents then.

Are there ways to automatically let run several actions in a row?

No, but you can add multiple commands to a single Action. Is that not working for you?

Unfortunately not, because the multiple commands in one action can be added after another yet Acrobat just uses the already changed documents as the basis for the further "personalisation actions" and doesnt restart it at the base document folder.

I don't understand. Are the changes dependent on the other files? If not, what difference does it make if you perform all changes one after another on the same file, as opposed to doing change #1 on all files, then change #2 on all files, etc.?
