Question

Users can't move bookmark to very top

We have multiple users on Pro, 64-bit, v. 2022.003.20322, reporting that they're unable to drag/drop bookmarks to the top position. They are having to move the bookmark they want on top to just below the top bookmark, release it, then move the top bookmark down, leaving the one they want on top, on top.

I've repeated the issue with a Word file distilled with the Acrobat add-in, via Word's Save As PDF, and in a brand new, blank PDF created in Acrobat.

I see older posts describing a problem with bookmarks that I'm still having. I can't move bookmarks at the main level to where I want them. It's more than just an issue with moving a bookmark to the top of the list. I used to be able to do this but now it's not possible.

Yes, Julie, it happens to me every time now. I convert from Word to PDF and then create a manual bookmark for my title page, which I want at the top. I now create this under the top bookmark and then drag the top bookmark down.

Drag the bookmark at the second position, just under the top bookmark.

Then drag the first bookmark just under the second one.

This just happened to me for the first time ever! I used the cut and paste options as a work-around.

1. Drag your new bookmark after or under your top book mark.

2. Right-click on the top bookmark and cut it.

3. Past under or after the 2nd from top bookmark,

I guess this is a bug , aye?

Same issue here. Started a day or two ago.

I have the same issue. It is very annoying. I am new to this forum. Are there moderators who will deign to comment on some point as to whether Adobe will do anything about it?
