USING FILLABLE PDF FORMS ON GOOGLE SHARED DRIVE

I have created a fillable form using Adobe Acrobat Pro. However, when I save the file to a Google Shared Drive I get a message that the form can only be filled in using Acrobat desktop. I am sharing this form to be used by key individuals within the company. But I am the only employee who has Adobe Acrobat Pro installed on my desktop.

How do I make this form fillable to those who have access to the Shared Drive?

If the file is opened via e.g. the Chrome browser, Chrome's own PDF viewer will kick in, and you will run into this problem. Make sure that those who need to work on the document have the free Adobe Reader installed, and that they open the file with Reader (depending on your setup, this might require that the file is downloaded first).

It can also be filled with the Free Acrobat Reader. The message said Acrobat, not "Acrobat Pro"
