If at the time Adobe was shutting down the activation servers to CS2, Acrobat 7 and 8 (IIRC) they had a download for Acrobat 8, and serial number, that did not require the online activation system.

If you downloaded the install files (it needed a special install file) ands the non online activation serial number (it needed a special number) then yes you could install Acrobat 8 on a newer computer as long as the OS supported it and or allowed it. With Mac that is no longer possible. With Windows I am not certain.

Microsoft has changed the printing subsystem so the Acrobat printer is not available anymore on a Windows 10 computer. as for the rest, the non activation downloads are no more available as of my information.

You may install the software on 2 computers concurrently. But as this is a very old version, it may be that it won't run correctly or that you run into troubles installing or activating the software.

I believe that it is no longer possible to activate Adobe 8.
