View PDF after Saving not working

Right now I am experiencing an issue when I save as a PDF in Illustrator, it doesn't show the file in Acrobat. Yes, "View PDF after Saving" is checked. 

(This is what shows after I save as a PDF in Illustrator with the "View PDF after Saving" checked.

    Hey Jonathan,

     

    If I understand the process correctly, you had a illustrator file that was saved as pdf and later on it was open using Acrobat DC.

    Would you mind confirming the exact workflow of creating pdf? 

    1- You must try saving file as "Adobe PDF" not just PDF. Or you may use "Create PDF" tool to import an Ai file to pdf. 

    2- Or export Ai file as .pdf rather than using "Save As"

    3- How about normal pdfs opened within Acrobat, which aren't created using Acrobat? Does it open fine?

    I have a user with the same issue. He saves the file as a pdf with the view pdf after saving option enabled, but gets and error about the file not being found. The file has been created and can be opened as normal from the file locaton

    I have this same exact problem. I've noticed that I can open the pdf files fine from the folder, I only get the error when it tries to view upon saving from illustrator. I have also noticed that this only happens from certain network folders, and not when I save it to the desktop. This just started about a week ago for me and I am unsure on how to resolve the issue.
