Web version of acrobat slow on Chrome

Ever since I enabled the ability to "Open Recent Files" on the web version of Acrobat, it now takes up to 23 seconds to load each page. I load dozens of pages every day and multiple at a time so this slows me down tremendously.

Please advise

I have already done a text session with Adobe Tech support and it didnt go anywhere. Tried to get on the phone but anytime Adobe called it would go strait to my VM.

Changed the amount of files that will show in history to 0 and that has done nothing.

Everything just slowed down as soon as I gave Adobe permission to enable the History option
