What does Adobe Acrobat Reader DC have that is not in Adobe Acrobat DC?
The reason I ask is we have an application that requires us to have both Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat DC installed to open PDFs.
Acrobat DC by itself brings up a blank page.
We need the features of Acrobat DC, which doesn't work unless we also install Acrobat Reader DC.
I always thought Acrobat DC included all the features in Acrobat Reader DC.
Acrobat Pro DC works fine by itself, no problems there.
For now our work around is to install Reader DC after the Acrobat DC install, or just install Acrobat Pro DC, which works fine.
Just seems wierd to have to install Reader DC with Acrobat DC.

Hello!
The confusion makes sense! Adobe Acrobat DC does include almost all the features of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. However, Reader DC sometimes handles certain plugins and addons differently, which might be causing the issues you're experiencing. These differences usually don’t affect the Pro versions, which is why Acrobat Pro DC works fine by itself.
Your workaround of installing Reader DC after Acrobat DC or just using Acrobat Pro DC is sensible and might be the simplest solution until Adobe updates their software to resolve these specific conflicts.

DC has been removed from the name of all versions of Acrobat for over two years.

The company I currently work for seems to still use 'DC' for the cloud version. I'll start omitting the DC and see how it goes!
Thanks for the tip!
