What versions of Acrobat will do searchable PDFs

I am looking for information on what versions of Acrobat will do searchable PDFs,

any special scanning requirements, etc.

I look at the features of a lot of the versions and only see "editing text and pictures"

What do I need to create a searchable PDF from a document to be scanned?

Help, Bill

Acrobat supports making a pdf searchable. It will run Recognize Text/OCR on any scanned document and make it searchable.

I suggest you, please use the trial version of latest Acrobat DC- https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html.

Go to tools> Enhance scans> Recognize Text> In this file> Recognize text

Hope it helps.

Thanks.
