Question

When using certificates to digitally sign a document can I change the date format displayed on the signature from 2017.09.20 to 20 Sep 2017?

My company is enforcing a new date format to recording data and I want to find out if I can change the display on my digital signature.  I see how to remove the date from showing but no options for changing the display to "dd MMM yyyy".

AFAIK, it can't be changed.

Hi Markm,

I am afraid that the format cannot be changed, it can only be achieved by the JavaScript.

For the JavaScripting, you can refer to these links:

Hi Markm,

As per the description above, you want to change the Date format in the Signature from yyyy mm dd to dd mm yyyy, Is that correct?

For more information please refer to the following links:

Yes but this is specific to the date displayed in the image above and not to any fields in Acrobat.  I am looking for a setting that can be adjusted.  I do not want to code anything and certainly cannot pass on a solution to my entire company that includes each user coding something to change the display.

I am using Acrobat Standard DC 2015.006.30355

Windows allows for a change to the date display and that passes down to many other parts of the software - Outlook, Excel, etc. but not to Adobe.  Can this be changed somehow?
