Where is the undo button, Acrobat Pro

My Acrobat just updated to the latest version.  You know the version where litterally everything changed.  Well I'm trying to customize and I can't seem to locate the undo button.  I'm well aware of Ctrl-Z, but would like the option of a button.

You can revert to the classic GUI interface by following the instructions here:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/revert-to-classic-interface-from-new-acrobat-gui/...

You'll find the Undo button in its usual place.

Amal,

The best thing I learned from that article is that this is a "new acrobat experiance" that can be disabled.  So for now that is what I have done.  There were definate aspects of the new experiance that I like, others not so much.  Since this is still in a "beta" phase, I will opt out of using it for now.

Still, the article didn't answer my question.

Best, Chuck

It's not in beta, it's just ill-designed.

I agree. "il-designed" would be a good term. There definitaly needs to be an undo/redo button added or re-added back the the EDIT dropdown menu.

Thanks

I am missing the undo option from the menu. Let me know if you find out how to access it. In my system, I cannot always access Cntl-Z (Mac: Command-Z).

I think the chief reason for software revisions is to hide functionality.  [abuse removed]

Well as long as they don't change the save icon from a floppy to something else. If that happens, I'll loose (sic)  (cursing removed).  LOL

Sorry but reverting back to the old GUI is not the correct answer. The current version needs to have an easily accesable undo button.

Also drilling down in a hamburger menu is not the best way to go about it either.

The undo button (and redo button) recently appeared on the interface on the top of the document menu bar to the right of the Sign button. (You must make a change to a saved document in order for them to appear. (My guess is that Adobe is now pushing updates to Acrobat directly through the internet without me updating through Creative Cloud app.)

Hi Alan.  I saw your earlier note about the undo/redo being found in the hamburger -

Alan24050040w0q2  Community Beginner , Sep 04, 2023

On Windows, I just found it in the Hamburger Menu, under "Undo, Redo & more."

.  When I select "Undo, Redo & more," the Undo/Redo are greyed out.  I've seen the illustration in Adobe Help that shows the undo/redo buttons to the right of the Sign button like you mention on the 15th. Do you have any idea why mine are greyed out & how I can access them?  Thank you.

I have no idea. They now appear enabled (not greyed out) in the Menu and the buttons to the right of the Sign button, when there is a recent edit.
