Hi, I am from a tech background, and there was always a need to convert hundreds and thousands of files together into PDF format. Converting EML into PDF was difficult, but a few years back, I opted for automated tools. I used several tools and I'll list the names and functionalities I personally liked about them, and which tool I have currently using for 2 years now.

Currently, I am using the RecoveryTools EML converter Tool. Earlier, I used and tried many tools like BitRecover EML Converter, Mailsware EML Converter, SysTools, etc. But my only reason to stick to this tool was that it was updating every time with recent updates in the technical world. The customization option for products & services as per my requirements was available, 24/7 customer support, and a very smooth experience I had with this software. Rest, it is compatible with all the versions of Windows and macOS.

Also, the speed is extremely good, the bulk export, user-friendly interface, advanced filters, everything was there which a normal businessman, big enterprises, or an IT professional needs. You can try out this, or you can also try out the other softwares. By the way, there is no price difference between them, so you can have the best one in the same price range.

If you're on Windows 10 and want to convert several EML files into PDF format, choose a tool that supports bulk conversion, preserves the original layout of the emails, and includes any attachments. It’s also helpful if the software keeps the folder organization intact and offers features like date-based filtering or the ability to skip duplicate emails.

I have used this converter, and it really does make the process easier and smoother. I had around 68 or 70 thousand files to convert into PDF, and this tool converted them in just a few minutes, and that was so with attachments. It is fully desktop-based which made it safer to use for crucial data. It's highly recommended because as an IT professional I can say that this one is best!

Hi @dutton_3480,

Thank you for reaching out with your question.

While Adobe Acrobat doesn’t natively support converting .eml (email message) files directly in bulk, you can still convert EML files to PDF by using the Print to Adobe PDF option from supported email clients (like Outlook or Windows Mail), though this is typically a one-by-one process.

For bulk conversion, Acrobat desktop doesn’t currently offer a built-in batch EML-to-PDF tool, but we understand the importance of this functionality for documentation and archiving workflows. You may consider the following options:

Recommended Workflow with Adobe Acrobat:

  1. Open the EML file in Outlook or another supported email application.
  2. Use Print > Adobe PDF to convert to PDF.
  3. For batch automation, consider using Power Automate (formerly Flow) with Acrobat Services API or a third-party connector that handles EML processing, depending on your technical setup.
