I am trying to deskew this document I scanned from my printer. After doing some research online, I learned I can do this by clicking the "optimize pdf" under "tools" but when I click that, I am taken to web browser that asks me to select a payment plan. Do I seriously have to pay just to deskew ONE image? it is for a resume and I will almost never use this option again so it seems like a bad investment on my end. Is there a free alternative?
Karl is correct that this is part of Acrobat but not part of Adobe Reader. Because of that Adobe Reader is guiding you to how to access this feature.
BTW, I completely agree with you that it's very very very annoying how Adobe has this configured. IMHO, if Reader cannot do this than do not show us this feature within the menu(s). At most, there could be an "add" under the help menu how to get more out of PDFs.
BTW-2, you can download a copy as a trial and use it for 7 days for free. That might be in your price range! :>)
