Why does Adobe Acrobat Pro DC keep logging me out

I have been trying to fix this problem for months.   I have read heaps of stuff on the web about it.

I am operating in Windows 10 which is current version.

I read this page

and then did what it said here

YES, I need help to fix this.  I have rebooted the machine, logged back in to Adobe and it still logs me out some time later.

I get notifications on screen about an update but if I do  Check for Updates, it says there are none. 

I bought it to be able to merge PDF files, organise pages etc but very tempted to dump it so that I can go back to Adobe Reader.

Surely you can make it so that it only needs to go to the server occasionally. 

I have fast internet NBN so it SHOULD work.

Please help
