WHY IS IT SOOOO BAD??

They pushing it when we don't want it.  It delayed our renewal till we finally got the sales representative to understand we don't want your worthless product.  We want somethign to make PDFs!!!  That's it!!!  If it wasn't the name brand that managment loves for name brand, we would use something cheaper and easier to use!!!

Yes, it is still the worst thing for professionals. I feel like 1998. also the masterminds behind this whatever intelligence only know python I guess. They never worked as a Communicationdesigner in the industry. They never learned photography or print. Should this random trashbag just destroy the market? I really want the 2016 crack version back.

The AI Assistant is beyond useless. I was examining a manuscript and asked how many
unique citations were in the Introduction. The AI responded that there were 14, but provided
a list of 22! The correct answer was 25. It can't be trusted to even do simple tasks, let alone more
complicated analyses.

Useless about sums it up. It cannot handle real files and real tasks like extracting headings or verbatim text from a 40 page file! Glad I didn't fall for the annual subscription, it's not a huge amount, but it's wasted money.

Agreed! I can't believe more people aren't complaining. It crashes on basic tasks. If I want it to create a glossary of terms based on a chapter or a section of a chapter, it takes 5 minutes and then says "something went wrong". Why am I paying for this? I decided to pay for the AI in adobe so I wouldn't have to copy and paste into ChatGPT, but honestly, the Adobe AI is so slow and unreliable, that it's faster for me to use ChatGPT. Really dissapointing.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
 
What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
 
Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
 
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://adobe.ly/3KDzObh and see if that works.
