Win11 BSD When Running Acrobat Reader 4.0.1.1012

My system:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor, 3.70 GHz
16.0 GB RAM
Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming motherboard
Windows 11 Pro, Version 21H2, OS build 22000.434

I've just started getting BSD's, and I'm looking for some help to make them cease.

Unfortunately, the system reboots before I can get any info from the death screen.

In each case, I was using Adobe Acrobat Reader. This has happened 4 times now. It's definitely related to Reader.
Acrobat updated on 1/12/2022, v.4.0.1.1012.

When it crashes and attempts to restart, the system hangs during the boot process. It will boot up after I cycle the power.

When I look at the event log at the most recent event, I do not see anything logged at the time of the crash - just the post-mortem startup stuff. Like:

The last shutdown's success status was false. The last boot's success status was true.

and

Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation.

This version of Reader must be at least 20 years old... Why on earth are you trying to use it?

The question is how on earth did I GET a version that old?
I've uninstalled, downloaded and re-installed, sitting at v.21.011.20029
now.
Here's hoping that resolves the issue.
