I have been a heavy user of Adobe Acrobat for many years.  I recently bought and installed Windows 10.  Whenever I attempt to use or reinstall Adobe Acrobat, Windows Defender blocks it.  I have tried several methods to deactivate Windows Defender.  Please Help!

Finally, I called Microsoft support.  They took over my computer and solved the problem.  I don't know exactly what they did, but it appears that Windows Defender blocked the installation of any software not coming from Microsoft store because they assumed I didn't have administrative rights.  Since I am the only user, I should have had administrative rights.
