Hello everyone,
I create my PDF files using a third-party tool (ipape.at), and unfortunately, with the new version of Acrobat, I'm experiencing display issues. The font is displayed much too large, making the text unreadable. I've attached an example PDF for reference. This PDF-File was made out of an Excel Table, "Peter Paul and Mary", font Calibiri, size 11.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any suggestions? The problem only started with the August update—everything was fine before then.
In my organization, I haven't had any issues, but I'm concerned that my customers will soon face problems, and I have no control over that.
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards,
Peter

Thanks, istalled update right now. Checked my "older" files, witch were´nt displayd correctly - now everythings fine and all my files correct now - problem fixed here too.
But in the meantime we had to update our PDF-Printers, cause not all customers were able to read our invoices - and ,for us, it wasn't immediatly clear how to fix the problem for them.
But now everythings fine again.

Hi,
I just installed 20054 and we are still experiencing the issue. The gibberish boxes do not appear on the same PDFs that are opened with 2024.002.xxx Acrobat version.

Hi Peter,
We having same issue, apperently they know about and "working on a fix"
what i shared with our users is download the pdf open it with Edge or Chrome.
if they need to make an edit to the pdf document they can open it in edge or chrome and print to adobe pdf, save the document and open it in adobe and they are able to see it and make edis if needed. We are a law firm having issues with old medical records.
I believe this is happening because they took something out.. crossing finger next update fixes this issue

We have the same issue and have been since the August update. Lots of squares instead of fonts. Adobe said they were working on it, but that was a week ago.

Sorry, I cannot share a PDF. It is my client who is a law firm. The same PDFs open fine in prior versions of Adobe Acrobat. There was a theme of these garbled documents: they were all forms. I don't know how they were created.
Best,
Peter
