Word doc and docx not showing as supported files

I am using Word 2019 and Adobe Acrobat 2020. Word documents are not showing as supported file types when I attempt to Create PDF, Combine Files, or Prepare Form in Acrobat. It will only give me Excel spreadsheets, GIFs, and web pages to select from. I have included a screenshot if it helps. The folder that I am in currently has over 20 word doc and docx files between the first and second available file as shown in the screenshot. My computer has an update available that I installed this morning and then uninstalled with no change to the Adobe issue. I am at my wits' end trying to fix this and I cannot find help on the web or in the Adobe Support. I have a major work project coming up in the next couple of weeks and I need to resolve this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I found these settings and Word is nowhere to be found and I don't see any way to add it back.
