Good afternoon, I have also been having the same problem. I wish I didn't have to waste any more time, but the solution I came up with was to transfer the document to the cloud and from there download it directly as a PDF (it takes longer, but so far I haven't had any problems with formatting). If you directly convert a Word to PDF on your PC, the images will unfortunately blur. I don't know if the problem comes from Word or Adobe, but wherever it comes from, I hope it will be resolved soon. I've also tried all possible settings to see if I didn't lose image quality in both applications and nothing improved. Compliments.

I don't understand your explanation.

Transfer the MS Word Doc to the cloud, but then, how do you download it as a PDF file?

When does it get transferred from MS Word to PDF BEFORE you download the PDF?

I encountered the same problem with image quality from MS Word to PDF, as a matter of fact, I was about to post the exact same question.  My "work around" albeit is cumbersome, is this:

I saved my MS Word document as a PDF file.  Then I imported it into Adobe Acrobat.  The images definitely lose quality, so I went back to my MS Word document, copied the image to the clipboard, then went to the PDF file in Adobe.  I deleted the low quality image and pasted in the image I copied to the clipboard.   Seems to work, as long as ou don't have a lot of images.
