Word to PDF text changing to images

I have an issue when I convert from Word to a PDF, PDF takes some of the text either number or alpha and converts them to an image. This is done when used in a list. I have them in styles.

 

Here are the specifics:

Word 2016

In Adobe Pro 2017 I have adjusted the advance settings = Embed all fonts

I have adjusted the word settings to Save as -> Options -> Embed fonts in the file (All New Documents)

Tried saving as .doc vs .docx

I do lengthy documents and the time to go through and edit and replace all the items in the list is unrealistic. Oh and they have to be 508 compliant.

 

Please help.

      We are sorry for the trouble. As described when converting Word to PDF the text changes to images.

       

      Is this a behavior with a particular file or with all the files taht you try to convert to PDF? Please  try with a different PDF file and check. If its a file specific issue please share the file with us for testing.

       

      What is the workflow/steps you are doing to create the PDF from the WorD file?

       

      Please try to create the PDF using one of the methods as described in the help article Create PDFs from Microsoft Office |  and see if that works for you.
