Question

XMP templates folder no longer accessible from metadata documents window

I was using the Acrobat DC pro desktop to save XMP templates with custom values.

Just updated and the save XMP option disappeared from the Additional Metadata window.

Can no longer save/edit/import XMP values from my library of templates.

Where did it all go?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please go to Preferences (Ctrl, CMd+K) > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable Protected mode at startup' and uncheck 'Enhanced Security' > click OK and reboot the application and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Thxs, but found solution with customer service chat.  The update went to the system library instead of user library, so I couldn't locate it.  Found it, fixed it.

Uninstalled everything, re-installed to prefered locations.  Everything is ggod now. (Mac Sonoma 14.2.1)
